Strategic Workforce Planning Under Uncertainty

A new study in the INFORMS journal Operations Research proposes a data-driven model for conducting strategic workforce planning organizations. The optimizes recruitment and promotions by balancing risks of not meeting headcount, budget, productivity constraints, while keeping within prescribed organizational structure. Analysis using indicates that there are increased faced organizations state growth or face limitations to renewal (such as bureaucracies).
